J Holiday Suffocate Guitar Tutorial w/ Tabs
Basic Chord progression:
dm7 - am7 - em7 - FM7

My beginner tutorial on how to play J. Holiday’s Suffocate on Guitar. I’m relatively new to guitar and tutorials (been playing seriously for about 6 months), so please send or comment me any feedback/suggestions. Also feel free to msg with questions. Hope the tutorial helps some people learn the song. =)
*Note: I used different versions of the same chords (dm7, am7, em7, FM7) for different parts of the song. I did this to 1. Stay true to the original arrangement as much as possible 2. Illustrate that you can play the same chord in many different ways on a guitar 3. Make certain transitions easier (the bridge). For example, I have 3 different versions of the dm7 chord, one for the intro, one for the verse/chorus, and one for the bridge.

can you do like a tutorial showing exactly where to put the fingers for us beginners cause its kinda hard to know everything. only if you can if not well work with this. you should check out tie my hands tutorial something like that but yea if not thanks for the vid. still appreciate it.

So I have a QUESTION!! I can play the chords and stuff, I’m justa begginer and guitar but I know how to play the chords and keep them on time and stuff but I dont get how u get those other notes inbetween the chords?
